About Sasha Bikoff
Multicultural Maximalism
Born and raised in New York City, Sasha Bikoff built a name for herself designing home interiors for the millennial elite. Today, she’s a prominent design-world influencer, boasting features in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and a furniture collaboration with Versace.
Bikoff embraces an eclectic, multicultural perspective to design novel experiences for her clients. She curates each decorative element to capture her client’s passions and aestheticize their idiosyncrasies. “I always try to create things that don’t exist,” Bikoff says, “that people haven’t seen before.”
“Instead of decorating with glitz and color, I did it with lighting,” she says. “It’s my biggest trick. If I didn’t have that system, I’d miss that colorful world of mine.”

The designer cites Ketra as her “go-to” and uses the advanced LED system to tune the ambiance in her Hamptons barnhouse home. A departure from her eponymous style, the home’s millwork-clad interior celebrates the understated elegance of wood. In fact, light accounts for the majority of the color in the space—allowing Bikoff to indulge in an array of custom color scapes according to the needs of each moment.
Fully customizable lighting lets Bikoff find balance in her work. “Ketra’s colorful lighting can either amplify vibrant decor or provide the flexibility to embrace more bold, contemporary designs in a less permanent way.”
